Tool maintenance

After completing the processing, maintaining the cleanliness of the CNC tools impacts processing quality and tool lifespan. Refer to maintenance videos and maintain the tools after use to ensure the stable quality of your creations.

  • Simply post-processing cleaning:
After cutting is completed, immediately remove any remaining chips and grease from the tool. You can gently clear the surface using a brush, compressed air gun, or any similar tools.
  • After removing the tool from the trimmer, you can manually clean it using solvents or liquid cleaners. Gently wipe or brush the tool's surface, and then use a clean rag to dry it.
  • Some tools are prone to oxidation, especially high-speed steel tools. Before storing, you can apply a thin layer of rust inhibitor to the tool's surface to prevent oxidation.
  • When storing tools, make sure they are placed in a dry, clean area, away from moisture and corrosive substances. Storing the tools in dedicated toolboxes is best to prevent contact and damage between tools.
